This is a wonderful store with caring people. I'm from Fort McMurray and was evacuated due to forest fire. Theses nice people booked my dog in and groomed her. I went to pick her up and I'm standing to pay and the nicest lady behind till said there is no charge. She said its the least we can do and their thoughts are with us. I was very grateful and if I lived in Nanaimo they would get all my business. Thank you doesn't seem enough !

The moment you walk through the door the wonderful smell of cedar and their friendly staff greet you. Just the most amazing bird store!! I’ve learned SO MUCH over the years about our local birds from the amazing owner Colin! They always answer my e mail or phone queries promptly and carry quality seeds and related products. It’s the highlight of our Nanaimo shopping trip!

The manager always has a friendly hello. I think his name is Dan. Once he delivered my aunts dog food to her house, as she is a senior and quite frail, in his own car on his way home from work. It is a friendly place to shop, but a cold place in fall and winter. I do not think there is any heat in that place.

Our Furgus is a rescue kitten that the ladies nursed back to health, they really care ...lovely store.

Great store, big selection! Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, if they don’t have something in they will find a supplier and get your product in! Service with a smile. I will definitely shop there again.
