Jolly II is a lovely little Friday night dinner date spot. From the ambiance of the candle lit tables joined with soothing live music and great homestyle real italian
food, I highly recommend you try it. I am yet to be disappointed by a meal there.
There is nothing that stands out about this restaurant. The entree I ordered was very good but the apps were sub par.
Services were very accommodating for our birthday celebration and they did a fine job.
Portion sizes are all very very good.
When I called ahead of time the phone was answered by what sounded to be an older woman. She made it sound like I accidentally called her at home. "Hello? Who is this?" She would ask. lol
I went to this restaurant twice...both times were a major dissapointment...the food is nothing to rave about; just average italian food. The first time I went there my wife and I told our waiter we were going out for a smoke int he middle of dinner. We came back inside & our table had been cleaned and all the food taken away; which is really funny, cuz many of our friends have said they constantly feel like they are being watched by the staff while eating there. The second time we went, we ordered ceaser salad on the side...and got mayonaise dressing!!! I complained to the waitress, who told me she would get the owner/manager to come & talk to me, which he never did!! The people at the table behind us complained of the exact same thing!!! I called the owner the next day to compain & was told I was a liar and he hung up on me..... I have NEVER and will NEVER EVER go back!!
This restaurant is a great place for a rushed lunch. It is qualtiy homa made type italian cuisine served cafeteria style. The pasta tates like my Nonna's home made pasta. The service is a little pushy b/c they are always packed and want the line to move along quickly. I eat here all the time.
