This is cute little restaurant tucked away in Belmont Village. I have been there with my spouse on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. Due to the size of the place, it is a good idea to make a reservation ahead of time so that you aren't waiting or disappointed if tey don't have a table for you. It is a little pricey, but the food has always been good, same with the service and atmosphere. Nice for a romantic meal. Basically, you get what you pay for :) Great job!

I love this little restaurant. I had angel hair...

I love this little restaurant. I had angel hair pasta with arribiata sauce - amazing... I love their very garlicy caesar too. I will hardly even talk during lunch the food is so good! My lunch mate ordered the fettucine alfredo and it is also very good.

Lunch ... not so good

I've recently been to Casa Rugantino for lunch with co-workers and both times have ordered the chicken salad with shaved parmigano. Both times I've been dissapointed. Everyone raves about Casa Rugantino, but my chicken looked like it had be re-cooked or warmed-up a dozen times, the toasted walnuts were burnt, and the lettuce was chopped and tired looking. Could barely find a purple onion slice to save your life. It was almost as unsatisfying as the "Bolero Chicken Salad". If you've had it, you know what I mean.

Very Disappointing

Given all the good things we've heard about Casa Rugantino, especially the pizza, we were very disappointed. The main ingredient in the pizza seemed to be salt. The selection of vegetables was very limited, for an establishment that claims to be vegetarian friendly. Fortunately, there are many better choices nearby. Try the crepe place down the street, or across the street for Italian. We won't be back.

Beautiful Patio with Lovely Flowers - relaxing and intimate!

I really enjoy the intimate dining experience - friendly family run business - great food always served very hot. A wonderful change from "Big Box" restaurants. This is Italian Cooking at it's best. Make reservations because it's a popular spot.
