They were great with helping me pick tires out. The problem came after. My van requires a special key to remove a lug nut from each tire. This was not given back thankfully I caught it when checking before I left but I missed one thing. My lug nuts are 19mm and for some reason there was a 18mm lug nut on the rear tire which I did not notice untill I was getting the breaks changed. If this was noticed on the side of the road with a flat tire I would have been screwed.

I bought a new of new Michelin tires in May 2016. Then in Nov 2016, I noticed my front left tire was flat. So I went to Dettmer tire at Eramosa Road. They fixed and charged me forty bucks. I asked what caused the issue. They told me the rim flange caused the leak and the tire was OK. They should fix the issue when they installed my new tires. This is how they make money from customers.

Quick!

I was driving home from running errands when I felt my tire start to go flat. Luckily I wasn’t too far from Dettmer Tire and I was able to keep driving. I cancelled all of my appointments for the morning while I waited for my tire to be inspected. As soon as I was done making calls, they told me that they found a piece of metal in my tire and they were able to patch it. It was super quick and I had the rest of the morning to do what I wanted!

Great Experience

Great experience from initial phone call which was placed after 7pm - the manager answered with a welcoming greeting and took the time to answer all of my questions before setting an appointment. Upon entering the store for service the guy at the front was very helpful and throughout the wait, thanked me for waiting and informed me that the service was on schedule. I highly recommend Dettmer Tire for all your car service needs.
