Failure to call me about my dogs new meds for over a month despite repeated calls to them. My dog has epilepsy so this is a BIG deal. Harassed me like a debt collector over $22 without even giving me 24 hours to pay it. Have messed up sending my dogs new dose amounts to my family vet multipul times. I used to reccomend this place to everyone. Now I never will again.
We are not patients at Cavan but our vet was away so had to bring our dog here after another dog attacked us. After waiting untreated at Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic for over six hours, we left and went to Cavan. Upon arrival, we were taken in promptly, our dog was treated and we were sent home with care instructions. The compassion and professionalism shown by Dr. Kalish was second to none. I'm so thankful he treated Linc's injuries as an emergency! Would highly recommend!
Fancy new office. Disinterested service. Waited two weeks for appointment rearranged my schedule to attend. Left waiting 1 1/2 hours before giving up. Why bother booking appointments at all?
Positively HORRIBLE experience! They nearly killed my dog. I waited 3 days for follow up only to need emergency surgery. And then they gave my dog KENNEL COUGH (and handed me the bill for his treatment!).
HORRIBLE VET PRICES ARE HIGH HORRIBLE SERVICE AND VERY RUDE STAFF.
If you want to spend thousands of dollars for your pet to be misdiagnosed take them to Cavan. If you want your pet to wait 12 hours while they are suffering from liver failure from a misdiagnosis of liver cancer...take them to Cavan. These vets are absolutely pathetic and I’ll never go there again. We also waited 15mins at the front desk to even be acknowledged from their staff. This happened sept 18 at 1900hrs. Check the cameras for how long we had to stand their while my dog was suffering.
No clinic can match the expertise found at Cavan. I drive an hour to get my pets to them!
Cavan Hills Vet Services saved my cats life...literally! I came home from work to find she had managed to completely open up her stitches from her spaying surgery. She was quivering and extremely weak. I called Cavan and they took her right away. She had overnight surgery and they medicated her for infection and fever. And the cost for this was less expensive than the spaying fees!! Jewel and I will be forever grateful!! Thanks to everyone who came to her rescue!
Was sitting in waiting room listening to the heartless receptionist laughing after a customer had called in asking if they did pro-bono work as she could not afford to have her sick and ailing cat vetted. They laughed and said what do people think we are not in business to not make money. Very disgusting and pathetic behavior.
This place is so flexible and friendly its unreal

Had my dog Kolby in for some vaccination the staff was so friendly and helped with any question I had. There were a few other patients in the waiting room and I'm sure they were just as satisfied as I was. Thank you for making Kolbys visit pleasant Bonnie
My dog was badly bitten from another dog on a weekend, he needed surgery, they were very informative and reassuring that my dog would be o.k., and the price was cheaper than other estimates, no emergency fees!!!!! Definitely recommend this vet hospital!!
