Never able to contact financial adviser, mailbox always full - gave the bank probate papers at the start of July 2022 - November 3 2022 finally received notification a cheque was ready for pickup. My son has LEGAL Power of Attorney and the legal papers to prove it but Scotiabank insists on mailing me the cheque as I am out of province on a family emergency. There has been no offer of interest or compensation for the months of delay due to bank employees failing to do their jobs!
