Although they're famous for their chicken, we'll be going back for their fish (and maybe try the chicken for my 'no way I'm eating fish' husband). My son and I were looking for a quick bite for lunch after doing some shopping at the nearby Scholars Choice and found this place. Smelled soo good. As we didn't see a lot of prices or labels, my son ordered the Portuguese sausage sandwich and I lingered over the windows filled with mountains of fish, rice, potatoes and was served by a very pleasant and helpful young man. I asked about a particular dish and ended up ordering the amazing looking and super delicious cod with a side of potatoes, The server put two layers of potatoes in a good sized container, covered it with the huge portion of cod and then he began spooning a loving amount of the yummy sauce over the dish. As it really isn't a sit down place, we were hungry and ate there. I paid less than $20 and was in heaven. My son enjoyed his sausage but will definitely order the cod next time. Was surprised to read about 'grumpy' servers. Ours even thanked us for coming on our way out. Maybe because it was in the early Friday afternoon, we saw that customers were served quickly (looked like they ordered huge quantities ahead) and courteously. Definitely going back for that cod. Pssst...I overhead the guy tell someone its only available Fridays and Saturdays.

Nando’s is a Portuguese-Mozambican restaurant that serves different types of foods such as Peri Peri Chicken, French Fries, Garlic Bread and much more! Nando’s is known for its Peri Peri sauce and people especially like it with their chicken!
The restaurants are very clean. You can have a nice seat inside or a seat outside, either one is amazing! The tables shine and the restaurant floors are perfect. Nando’s is very clean especially even though they have so many customers a day!
Usually our bill ends up being $50-100, but it is totally worth it because the food is delicious and filling. There is basically always a huge line to get a seat in Nandos! I remember once we had to sit outside and it was freezing but we had nowhere else to sit. I think maybe they should make more place for customers in the restaurant so we can get seats quickly.
Its always a guilty pleasure to eat Nando’s. The food is delicious but it is so bad for your health! I think Nando’s can cut down some oil because I think they put way too much! I don’t blame them for having fattening food because it wouldn’t taste as well but I do think they use too much amounts of oil.
Everytime I go to Nando’s we usually have to wait 5-20 minutes to get a seat. The food is absolutely delicious. Nando’s does not taste like most portuguese restaurants, it is way better. You can tell they take their time to make the food the best they can serve it as. Mainly the only reason I go to Nando’s is for the peri peri sauce!
The waiters are very hardworking and friendly. They have a very nice attitude and serve you as your loyalty. You can tell they work hard because they sometimes sweat a little or run out of breath but they are absolutely amazing!
The food is more expensive than it is worth. Like the food is on a great reasonable price but if you order chicken, you order fries, if you order fries you order garlic bread, if you order garlic bread you order a drink and so on. So overall you end up buying a lot of things and the payment is high. I'm not blaming them because we are the one who order that much food but maybe there could be like sales if you purchase 100$ or more you get 10% off or something like that.
But whenever we have gone, they have never ran out of of any food or sauce etc. They are very prepared and rarely run out.
Overall, I think Nando’s is an amazing place and even though it has some problems it is worth it. I think everyone should try Nando’s because it is a delicious and unique restaurant. I would rate Nando's 4/5. Nando’s has food like no other place and I would totally recommend it! I wish I could eat Nando’s for the rest of my life!

I just ordered food for my daughter's bridal shower and I was BLOWN AWAY
The seafood dishes are the best I have ever tasted, hands down.
Everything is made with passion. It is really hard to find that these days.
And of course the chicken is always a staple, I prefer rotisserie, but they have grilled chicken to which seems to be really popular.
Always call in your order though as this place can get really busy Fridays - Sundays.
Its no wonder I've seen Mayor Hazel pop in there so often, it really is the best value in Mississauga.

This restaurant is fabulous! I had dinner with my family and we all decided on different items. When the food got to our table, it smells wonderful and tasted even better. We all tried each other's dishes and we found the food exceptionally tasty. The ambiance was very friendly and the servers were attentive. They made us feel comfortable and suggested a great bottle of wine to go with our dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!

You want super delicious, moist, and tender chicken? Then look no further! They cook their chicken on an open flame grill, and you have the option of a mild, or hot sauce. The hot sauce is rather flavourful, and not really 'hot' at all.
They also sell different types of fish that's not listed on the menu. The sides range from fries-potatoes-rice-veggies-garden salad.
The price is very good compared to other places. I can buy a whole chicken for just $12. Better than Nando's in every way

the restaurant is really nice and clean and they have a great deck to watch the people go by as you eat, great place!

We had take out - rotisserie chicken, rice and potatoes. Everything was delicious! Wait time for take out was about 15 minutes but everything was very fresh so it was worth it. Call ahead if you don't want to wait.
