Extremely challenging to deal with after you make a purchase. This is one of those places that makes you wonder how they stay in business.
Great marketing is my guess, it sure aint the people or products. Avoid at all cost.
Racer Sportif owner Dennis Mizerski loves the sport of cycling – and it shows. He was racing competitively back in 1978 when he opened the venerable Bloor West Village shop, which specializes in performance road, track and mountain bike sales and service. At the time, “It was a natural thing to do; I was just following my dream of cycling,” Dennis explains. “I've always been very intrigued by the bicycle itself. It’s a unique machine.”
And Racer Sportif is a unique retail operation. Its customized packages let customers choose every detail of their rides – “from the frame to the bar tape” – using world-class brands such as Scott, BMC, Look, Time, Shimano, SRAM, Real Speed and Ritchey. Its FIT Studio, meanwhile, tests cyclists’ physical performance to match them with the right bike. Then there's the innovative Retul fitting system, which reads the body in 3D while in motion.
