Love Sals!!! Amir, the server was very kind, efficient and personable. Food was great as always. Every time I come to Winnipeg Sal' s is my first stop.
We never go to Sal's so when we got a coupon we decided to check it out. We ordered cheese nip platters and asked what was on them. We were then told onions and cheese but could add what ever else we wanted. So we both asked for lettuce and tomatoes. Nothing was said at that time about a charge. After finishing our meals and going to the cashier they informed us about the price that didn't seem right. I requested the bill and noticed that there were charges for tomatoes. Instead of practicing the customer is always right conduct that they drill in training(I worked at Sal's on the bridge in the kitchen one summer) they argued with us saying we should have known that they charge for tomatoes. Needless to say we will never return.
