My only regret is that I did not take advantage of their ability to produce a salwar/kameez overnight. He was also right about my dupatta - he said I should have 2 1/2 meters but I bought only 2 meters. In the end, he was right.
The shop is clean and cheerful. Neighbors include every kind of other shop such as lovely gold jewelry, Punjabi restaurant, sweets shop and such. A great location with plenty of parking.
If gas were not so costly I would certainly shop there more often, but I live in Seattle...

In a time when so many great fabric stores are closing Dressew give us all hope! They have so much stock it is amazing. You can almost always find what you are looking for in the right size and colour! They are very busy so this makes shopping midday challenging. Go early if you can. A GREAT Vancouver resource for the home sewer, theatre, dance --anything! Johanna

Lots and lots of fabric, and the employees are very helpful. Too bad with inflation I can't afford to buy more. Definitely check out their bargain center in the back.
