I visited Scotiabank this morning to replace my debit card, but my experience was extremely disappointing. The staff were very rude and prejudiced against me. Despite showing the teller a valid Ontario photo identification card, she refused to accept it and demanded additional proof of address and immigration papers. I explained that I only had my Ontario ID card, but she called another staff member, and they refused to replace my debit card.

Paid off LOC in December 2020 and still shows up on any credit searches in March 2021. Poor service as this LOC should have been removed or at least reported as paid. Scotiabank in general is terrible I have to call constantly for updates on accounts and NO ONE has answers!!! TERRIBLE BANK
