I used spray paint near the tank so the sensor tuned off the hot water tank. I reset it using the set up instructions on tank and it worked. Had a service call to clean the tank the next morning and advised the technician the tank is working fine I was quoted 1 hour $ 150.00 for cleaning. Technician spent time on phone with Rheem co. technician and charged me another $ 150.00 Total: $ 339.00 and advised needs burner and not under warranty. I called Rheem myself and recd burner warranty.

Horrible you say, I say terrible service, called this guy at the beginning of September to get my gas fireplace cleaned up, had to call him twice since, we are now almost at the end of October still no call and no show, his only excuse was that maintenance doesn’t pay and he needs to schedule 2 or 3 clients that same day .... What this guy doesn’t know is that I have another fireplace to install in my living room and probably 3 to 5 K to spend.... I have since taken my business somewhere else.
