In his years as a professional photographer, Chuck Shulimak has taken nature shots from high up in the air and deep underwater, photographed all manner of people and shot just about everything in between. But the most memorable of his jobs was photographing his own daughter's wedding. "When you love the person you’re photographing, the whole process feels good," says Chuck.
That being said, Chuck extends his personal touch to all of his wedding photography. Even with so many years in the business, he treats each wedding as though it was his first and only.
"I see each couple as two individuals and I want to bring out their personalities. The way I see it, it's the biggest party they will ever put on, so I take a series of shots to reflect the character of the day." Chuck enjoys himself too, which he says helps make for a more memorable collection of wedding shots.
