Went for lunch with a couple coworkers and had delightful time. We were served by a very nice young woman. The food was good, the fries are made in house - where do you ever see that these days!

Quiet Halloween in our neighbourhood so decided to go out to eat ... had lovely 1/2 price wings (garlic parmesan) and a delish open faced beef sandwich with tasty fries (not frozen junk) .. and a $5 Caesar - our server was so polite and friendly - will definately go back

We have been to Lunergan's many times and this is our local pub. It has a great atmosphere everyone is very friendly including the staff. The service is prompt and they make you feel welcome.

Very friendly staff, really good fish and chips, wings, burgers, and weekend breakfasts WITH FRIED BALONEY - YEAH! The decor is tired but just like what you would find in small town Newfoundland. The washrooms are clean. If you go there just to eat, especially in the evenings and on weekends, be prepared for lots of rowdy barflies - this is very much a neighbourhood bar with loyal regulars.

Best meal I've ever had in Ottawa, all of our food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Our waitress was Ashley and she was amazing. Great atmosphere, lots of tv's as well. And the bathrooms are beautiful! (and spotless) We will definitely be back, highly recommend!

This restaurant is such a contradiction. It has the potential to become the best restaurant in Ottawa (if not the country). All the elements are in place. Awesome, atmosphere, great staff (mostly), and good food. The only stick in the ointment is a single toxic personality in the guise of a server, who seems intent on destroying all of that and ensuring that you never come back. She's a bit older than the other servers (who are all excellent), but this is not about age. Irene's up the road seems like an older crowd of patrons and servers, but they are awesome...but I digress, this not about Irene's, I just wanted to show that the contradiction at Patty's boils down to one personality. It's a real pity, because everything and everyone else there is out of this world.
